India vs Sri Lanka: First two ODIs to start two hours early

NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to revise the start times of the first two one-day internationals against Sri Lanka. BCCI issued a statement on Sunday regarding the changes in the timings.

“The BCCI after consultations with the two staging Host Associations – Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) and Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) – has revised the start times of the first two matches of the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka to be held in Dharamsala (December 10, 2017) and Mohali (Dec 13) respectively,” the statement read.

The first two ODIs will now start at 11:30 IST, two hours earlier than the original schedule of 13:30 IST. The decision was made keeping in mind the recommendation of host associations regarding inclement weather conditions in north India in the month of December.

The third ODI in Visakhapatnam on December 17 will start as per the schedule, i.e. 13:30 IST.
