“The elections in Himachal Pradesh have become one-sided. Congress has run away from the battlefield,” said PM Modi at a rally in Una.
PM Modi said that the funds released by the current Centre are “completely utilised for people’s welfare,” contrasting this with previous governments which “only made statements.”
He also assured the people that no one can grab what rightfully belongs to the country’s poor anymore.
Modi said his government was working to “fulfill people’s aspirations, like jobs for the youth, healthcare for the elderly, and proper education for children.”
He stressed that his government’s focus was on ‘vikas’ as “development is the solution to all troubles.”
In fact, he said that when the Congress formed the government, infrastructure development was very slow, but this changed after the BJP was voted to power.
The PM accused the Congress of not implementing the benami assets law as it would have revealed “all their wrong doings.”
Himachal Pradesh will go to vote on November 9, and counting of votes will be held on December 18.
