The 40-year-old man identified as Kalicharan Kirad last night committed suicide by hanging self from a tree in an agriculture field in Deveri village, told Mahendra Singh Devera, SHO at Kasbathana police station. The deceased worked as a private building material contractor in the area, he said adding the deceased prior to taking the extreme step uploaded one page suicide note on social networking site. The deceased in the suicide note named two other contractors for abetting and forcing him to suicide as the two contractors have not been paying him his amount of around Rs 23 to 24 lakh despite his repeated reminders. The deceased said in the note the debt over him was mounting up and the two contractors are not ready to pay him his due payment of 24 lakhs forcing him to take extreme step.
The two contractors, named in the suicide note as Shivraj Shaktwat and Madusudan Malav, both residents of Kota city have been booked under section 306 of IPC for abetment of suicide, SHO Dewada said.
The dead body was handed over to the family members after postmortem by the medical board in government hospital at Shahabad town, the SHO said. The teams have been formed to nab the accused in the matter, he added.
Meanwhile, the family members and relatives of the deceased contactor today morning protested and demanding the immediate arrest of the accused submitted memorandum to ADM, Shahabad.
Following the suicide note went viral on social media site, the family members and relatives informed the police of the deceased initiated hunt in nearby areas. The dead body was later last night found hanging in an agriculture field on Bilkhedamal road in Devri village.
