Kota: Some unidentified persons made away with Rs 11 lakh from an ATM of Bank of Baroda (BoB) installed in Aarogya Nagar, in front of Kota Medical Collage, under Mahaveernagar police station of Kota city. The bank authorities came to know about the theft of huge cash on Wednesday following which they lodged a case in this connection against the unidentified accused in Mahaveer Nagar Police Station.

Rs 11 lakh was stolen from Bank of Baroda (BoB) ATM kiosk at Aarogya Nagar in front of Kota Medical Collage by some unidentified persons, told circle in-charge (CI) of Mahaveer Nagar Police station. The incident of theft from ATM was committed on July 30 but the bank manager could come to know of the incident only on August 2 when he visited the ATM and traced mismatch of the cash record following which he lodged a case in this connection against unidentified person, the CI said.

The accused also took away with them the DBR machine from the ATM machine, he said.

Police is looking for the CCTV footages to trace the clue of the unidentified as accused and efforts are underway to nab them, the CI said. No clue of the accused has been traced o far, he further added.

Senior police officials including Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Kota city Anant Kumar, following the matter lodged yesterday rushed to the spot and collected the evidences.
