Shah, while addressing the media at the state BJP headquarters on the second day of his three-day visit, said that the state unit of the party would grow into an unbeatable Political Party by the ongoing process of strengthening of the organisation.
“In terms of an organisation, the state BJP will be invincible. In the next four months, the no political party would be able to come close to the performance of BJP in Rajasthan, forget beating it,” said Shah.
When asked about the frequent speculations on the change in state leadership, Shah said that Vasundhara Raje was doing a good job. “Let people create issues out of non-issues. Vasundhara Raje is doing a good job in the state,” he emphasised.
To a query related to loans of farmers being waived off, Shah said that union finance minister Arun Jaitley has already clearly stated that the states need to decide themselves. “It is the state government’s decision,” he added.
In his address to the media, Shah listed out the achievements of the Narendra Modi government including demonitisation and surgical strike; and applauded the flagship programmes and performance of the Raje government in the state. Speaking on the Ram temple issue, he said that the party’s stand on it was always clear.
“It is even mentioned in the manifestos of the last four general polls. The temple should be constructed but in a legal manner and through mutual dialogue,” he said.
When asked about the assembly elections in Gujarat, he asserted, ”BJP will win on more than 150 seats of the 182 in Gujarat.”
