CBSE NEET Results 2017: CBSE declares NEET 2017 result at cbseneet.nic.in

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday announced the results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2017. Punjab’s Navdeep Singh has bagged the top rank. Navdeep secured 697 marks out of 700. The second and third ranks have been bagged by Madhya Pradesh’s Archit Gupta and Manish Mulchandani respectively.

Qualifying marks for admissions in open category is 131 and that for students in the reserved category is 107.

The exam was held on May 7.

Here’s how to check your CBSE NEET result 2017 at cbseneet.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in:

  • Log on to cbseneet.nic.in (CBSE’s official website)
  • Click on ‘NEET results 2017’
  • Enter the roll number and other required details
  • Click on ‘Submit’
  • Download the NEET Result 2017 and take a print out for future reference

On June 12, the Supreme Court stayed a May 24 interim order of the Madras High Court which had restrained the Cbse from releasing the results.

The high court had on May 24 granted an interim stay on the publication of NEET results on a batch of pleas alleging that a uniform question paper was not given to the candidates, and that there was a vast difference between the ones in English and Tamil.

A total of 11, 38,890 students registered for this examination, including 1522 NRIs, 480 OCIs, 70 PIOs & 613 Foreigners. It was conducted in 10 languages at 1,921 exam centres across 103 cities.
