NTT Com-Netmagic joins hand with Tata Power to build 50 MW solar power project

NTT Com- Netmagic, a leading Managed Hosting and Multi-Cloud Hybrid IT solution provider in India, has entered into partnership with Tata Power to build its first 50 MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Solapur in the state of Maharashtra. This initiative enables NTT Com-Netmagic to meet the green energy needs and optimise operating costs.

This solar power project is aimed at reducing CO2 emission at an average by about 70,000 tonnes per annum, with the increased power and cooling demands of NTT Com-Netmagic’s data centers in the city. The power will be supplied through open access under a long-term power purchase agreement.

Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
