Karnataka Polls: PM accuses Siddaramaiah of corruption

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the BJP onslaught against the Congress party in Karnataka.

Addressing 3 rallies in the state, PM Modi launched one of the most vociferous attack on the state Government, adding that the days of Siddaramaih govt is set to go.

Prime Minister touched upon many topics in his public meeting. He attacked the congress and accused it of indulging in vote bank politics. He also said that the congress had shown utter disrespect to the martyrs and brave soldiers of Indian army for carrying out the surgical strikes. He took the fight to the opposition camp and sought answers for all the major blunders since

He reiterated that the NDA government at the centre is working for improving the conditions of farmers, poor and the deprived sections of the society.

Stinging criticism of the state government for ignoring welfare of the farmers. In a rally in Bellary, PM launched into an attack on the issue of corruption. He also covered local issues in his speech and talked about the scarcity of drinking water in Bellary. He promised desilting works in Tungbhadra. On the issue of Dalit welfare and upliftment of backward secitons of the society, he underlined his govt’s intention to ensure social justice for all in the country.

The last rally of the day was in Bengaluru. In the capital city, it was the other opposition party, the Janata Dal Secular that was on the target.

PM Modi accused the Congress Party of not fulfilling the electoral promises made to the voters by the state government and added that the congress lead government mislead the people.

He touched upon a raw nerve in the city as he mentioned the worsening situation of the pollution and the loosing status of Bengaluru as the IT capital of the nation. He also took up the relevant issues of woman safety in the city and promised action if his party comes to power in the state.
 
Prime Minister has upped the ante in the state and his rallies are already rattling the opposition parties. He will have many more rallies in the state as it prepares to vote on 12thMay to elect a new government.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi lists achievements of Siddaramaiah Government while campaigning in Karnataka; Yogi Adityanath canvasses for votes on behalf of BJP; Congress  accuses BJP of poll code violation.
