Ganesh Chaturthi is just around the corner and TV celebrities have already geared up for the celebrations. While there are a few who have already brought their Ganpati home and have been preparing the idol of Lord Ganesh themselves, Ankita Bhargava is thoughtful about what unique can be done of the festival this year.

Ankita got an idea to Distribute Stationery Items – like pencils, books etc to the needy in the form of Prasad. Thr actress has decided to follow it from this year and even asked her fans to do the same.

She shared a message on Twitter, which reads, “This Ganpati, When you go to visit Ganesh Ji at your friends and families, instead of taking fruits and sweets that EVERYBODY gets without fail, why not buy notebooks, pen, pencil, etc. which can be given to the domestic help of that particular household, so that their children can make use of it for their education. Just make a bundle of stationery and think of it as the prasad/chadhava. Makes sense, doesn’t it?”
