Mumbai All Set to Get Dazzled as LED Expo Returns with Innovations from More than 200 Companies

Led Expo, India’s renowned fair for LED lighting, components and technologies will return for its 16th edition from 11 – 13 May at the Bombay Exhibition Centre trade grounds in Mumbai. The organiser, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd, has confirmed that over 200 companies will be showcasing the latest price competitive LED solutions for the Indian market. Besides India, exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan will also be showcasing products at this three-day fair, which marks a 39% increase in international participation and indicates the growing interest of Asian manufacturers in the Indian market.

The wave of innovation and growth in the LED sector has been breaking price barriers and keeping pace with this momentum, LED Expo continues to bring innovations in LED technology, design and production to the forefront. Among the many highlights of the show, this year is the ‘Agate Wireless Connected Street Lighting Solution’ that will be launched by Pune-based Company – ANA Global Resources Pvt Ltd.
 
This unique solution is an indigenous connected lighting solution which works using Internet of Things (IoT). This LED street lighting with centralised monitoring and controls makes an ideal lighting solution for smart cities as it can provide real-time alerts, alarms, notifications per SMS/email and mobile as well as optimise and monitor electricity savings. Moreover, it supports two-way communication with street lights and centralised lighting management server software.
 
This LED-based wireless street-lighting solution will be on display at the LED Expo exhibition in Mumbai for all three days. It is of special interest for decision makers and business professionals working in city development projects as well as for architects, interior designers, and urban planners.

Supporting the next phase of LED implementation in India, various ministries and government bodies have announced strong support for this platform which promotes energy saving lighting and LED technologies for the country.
