‪‪Kendall Jenner criticised for Pepsi ad

The commercial is inspired from a real-life imagery taken from an instance that took place last year when Ieshia Evans and police came face-to-face at a Black Lives Matter protest in Baton Rouge. Pepsi ad uses Kendall Jenner to protest, and sell soda to a cop. It is believed that the ad has similar scenes inspired from Baton Rouge protest, which didn’t go down well with certain viewers.In a capitalism-friendly country Pepsi created an ad campaign with a Kendall Jenner twist.However, ‪‪Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi ad drew wrong disposition; the ad portrayed a similar incidence that happened in Baton Rouge with a humour twist.The Pepsi ad didn’t go down well, where ‪‪Kendall Jenner hands her Pepsi to the cop, and he takes a sip to the wild applause of the crowd during a Women’s March. Ieshia Evans was one of the protesters, dressed in a sundress, standing against Baton Rouge police officers during protests after a police shooting. The image won first place in its category at the 2017 World Press Photo Contest.
