The Indian OEM and IoT maker Smartron has now launched a new hyper laptop called the Tbook Flex. The tbook flex will be available in two variants, the one with Intel m3 is priced at Rs 42,990 while the Core i5 variant retails at Rs 52,990. Both the versions of the tbook flex will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from May 13, 2018.
The tbook flex seems to be designed keeping flexibility in mind. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner and the step less hinge design will allow users to flex the laptop up to 150 degrees. It sports a 12.2-inch WQXGA touchscreen display at a resolution of 2,560 x 1600. It also comes with a stylus. The tbook flex is built using a Magnesium and Aluminium alloy metallic body alongside a dual tone body color. As explained earlier the tbook flex comes in two variants. One of which is powered by an Intel 7th Gen Core m3 processor while the other one is powered by a 7th Gen Intel Core i5. Both the variants will come equipped with an Integrated Intel HD Graphics 615 and a 4GB LPDDR3 RAM.
On the storage front, the tbook flex features a 128GB SSD. The laptop is backed by a 40Whr Li-Ion battery. The tbook flex also comes with a Type C port which supports data transfer rates of up to 40Gbps. As far as the camera is concerned the tbook flex comes with a 2.0MP front-facing camera and a 5-Megapixel rear-facing camera.
Connectivity options on the device include WiFI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band, Bluetooth 4.0, 2x USB 3.0, SD Memory card slot, and 1x Type C USB Thunderbolt 3. Audio features include DMIC with noise cancellation and 2x1W integrated speakers. Being a hybrid the tbook flex can be easily switched from laptop mode to tablet mode. The tbook flex will be available in Orange-Grey and Black Grey colors combinations.
