Out of the 3 exhibition matches that we saw this year, the Payne’s Valley Cup was no-doubt the best. 4 of the best players in the world, battling in a Ryder Cup type event. Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas took on Rory McIlory and Justin Rose in a match featuring 3 different formats. The first 6 holes were best ball, the next 6 were alternate shot, and the last set, including the 19th hole, were 1 v 1. In the head to head matchups, Tiger played Rosey, and JT played Rory, in a rematch from the 2018 Ryder Cup in France (JT won 1 UP on 18).

Even though the golf was fantastic, it wasn’t even the best part of the afternoon. All the players were mic’d up, and supplied an endless amount of great moments. Trash talk, golf wisdom, and everything in between.
Here are just a few of the great moments from Tuesday’s match.
