Despite pulling out of the first event of the FEDEX playoffs with oblique soreness, Tiger Woods is going to give it another go. Woods will be making the trip to Chicago to play in the Bmw Championship at Medinah.

With his WD last week Tiger fell to 38th in the FedEx cup standings. Next week’s Tour Championship is only open to the top 30 in the standings so Woods will have to not only make the weekend but have a decent showing if he wants any chance of playing in Atlanta. Woods is paired Thursday and Friday with C.T. Pan and Billy Horschel. The group will be the featured pairing for the afternoon when they tee off at 12:54 ET. C.T Pan shared his excitement about the paring on Twitter.

With the 2019 PGA season coming to an end and slow play being the hot topic in golf, this week is shaping up to be another great event on the PGA Tour as the Top 69 players compete (Kevin Na’s wife is expecting, and he dropped out on Monday so he can be with her) for the BMW Championship.
