The PADI IDC for December 2017 on Phuket, Thailand has been completed in conjunction with Padi CDC Center 'Dive Asia' in Kata at the scuba diving training facilities at Kata Big Rock.

It has been a good time with Christian from Germany, who completed his IDC and Dimitri from Belgium, who completed his extra training after an online status update. Jan from Germany, who owns a dive center on Okinawa in Japan, completed his IDC Staff Instructor course.

Well done to all of you and Christian and Dimitri are now ready for their PADI IE, to be held this coming weekend, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December. The PADI IE is also in Kata, partly at the Alpina resort, for the Orientation, the theory and standards exams and the Knowledge Development presentations. For confined water they will be back at the pool at Kata Big Rock and for Open Water on Sunday they will take a plunge at Kata Beach.

It was a good program with a steep learning curve for all participants during which we also had some good fun, without loosing touch or sight of what we had to achieve. Thanks for the good times guys and now it's off for some PADI Specialty Instructor training before the PADI IE starts.

Two days before and one day after the PADI IE, we will be on the boat, doing what we love and like; diving!

In the meantime, all the best for your PADI IE, I'm confident that you will succeed with high scores and become the new PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors on the block, this coming weekend.

The first PADI IDC program for next year is scheduled to start 6th January on Koh Lanta, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Blue Planet Divers'. On 20th February a programs is scheduled to start on Koh Phangang, Thailand, in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Haad Yao Divers'. This is followed by a program scheduled to start 6th February on Phuket, Thailand in conjunction with PADI CDC Center 'Dive Asia' with monthly programs scheduled in 2018 on Phuket and on 20th February an IDC is scheduled to start in Khao Lak, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Sea Dragon'. To make the circle round again, on 26th March I will be back on Koh Lanta, Thailand again in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Blue Planet Divers'.
