Frank: “ One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some Magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.” You know, Dale Carnegie said that.
Bob: It’s nice I guess, but I wouldn’t even know where to get a Magical Garden.
Frank: Bob, there is no magical garden. It’s a metaphor for people who live in the future so much, that they forget to live in the present.
Bob: Oh, gotcha. Like Marty from “Back to the Future 2.”
Frank: No, not really. Marty literally went into the future, to change his past. This is a lesson on how we suspend our lives for something better that may never come.
Bob: I’ve seen the movie Frank. I’m the one who brought it up remember? Time Travel isn’t even possible yet.
Frank: I don’t think you get it Bob.
Bob: Of course I don’t get it frank. I’m not some kind of scientist.
Frank: I know Frank. Just remember to focus on today.
Bob: I already know what I’m doing. I’m going to home depot to go buy magical seeds.
Frank: Bob, just forget it.
Bob: You’re probably right, Amazon probably has a better deal.
