Senate candidate Roy Moore( R-Ala .), who has been accused of sexually assaulting teenage girlfriends , formerly connoted America is an ” evil ” in the world because it promotes marriage equality.
Moore’s take on same-sex marriage came up after an interview with the Guardian from August resurfaced this week. While chitchatting with the publication, Moore disagreed the” focus of misfortune in the contemporary world ,” which former President Ronald Reagan attributed to Russia in the’ 80 s, is actually America in the 21 st century. And that’s when the onetime justice brought up gay wedding as one such “evil.”
” You could say that very well about America, couldn’t you ?” Moore told the Guardian .” We promote a great deal of bad things, y’know ?”
