When we simulated Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics in NBA 2K17, the computer wasn’t optimistic about Boston making a series out of it. And what happened? Boston pulled off a dramatic upset despite Isaiah Thomas being out for the postseason.

So let’s sim Tuesday night’s Game 4 and see what happens. Can Cleveland take back a stranglehold on the series and put themselves a game away from the NBA Finals? Or can Boston somehow pull off another upset and take the series back to the Garden? There’s only one way to find out.

Oh my. Avery Bradley made the only three-pointer on that list, and he had eight attempts. Al Horford had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds, but that’s about it.

Digital LeBron James definitely had an off night, with just six points on 3-of-11 shooting. He didn’t have a three-pointer and finished with eight rebounds and six assists, so he had some productivity on the night, but Kyrie Irving and J.R. Smith were the difference here. Irving had 22, while Smith had 16. Kevin Love had another double-double, with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Look at all that red in the paint there. That’s the difference in the game. Well, that and all those Xs from the top of the arc. All those misses seem just as unlikely as a six-point effort from LeBron this postseason, but both happened in this one.

No 20-point comeback in this one. Looks like Cleveland wins this one going away with another huge effort in the paint. It also looks like Boston put up a pretty terrible effort from behind the arc as well: just 3-of-27 from behind the arc. That could be a symptom of falling behind early and trying to catch up.

The Celtics were ice-cold from the outside, and they never really had a chance in this one. And here’s your Game 4 MVP: Kyrie Irving.

So there you have it: Boston will be on the brink after Tuesday night, just like everyone expects.
