Watch Tom Petty’s Final Performance At The Hollywood Bowl On September 25

Tom Petty performed his final concert with The Heartbreakers at the Hollywood Bowl in LA on September 25th, the very last stop on the band’s 40th-anniversary tour, making it his last concert before his death. Fan-shot footage of the show was posted to YouTube by attendee Kim Robert of Petty performing “You Wreck Me,” “American Girl,” and probably his biggest hit, “Free Fallin’.”

Petty’s family confirmed his death late last night after conflicting reports were published. “He suffered cardiac arrest at his home in Malibu in the early hours of this morning and was taken to UCLA Medical Center but could not be revived,” his manager Tony Dimitriades said in a statement. “He died peacefully at 8:40 PM PST surrounded by family, his bandmates and friends.”
