Country Artist Uses Extended Metaphor In Lyrics To Describe Attractive Woman

NASHVILLE, TN — For the first time in Country Music history, esteemed artist Trucky Jackson has been able to craft the lyrics of his new song around one long fishing metaphor. The hit single Lips Like A Rapala has been a smashing success thus far and has received praise from even the harshest critics.

“I never thought anyone would be able to top the masterpiece that was Body Like A Back Road after Sam Hunt dominated the Billboard charts for so long, but this song is absolutely mind-numbing. When Trucky sings ‘Girl you been tuggin’ on my spinnerbait all night now / Come run those cherry whiskey fingers through my southern eyebrows’ it really touches you right here. Damn, I miss my ex-wife,” reflected country music critic Merle Sanderson as he pounded his fist against his chest whilst holding back tears.

The chart-topping tune was allegedly written after Jackson proposed to his fiancee, who was born with an extremely severe case of cleft lip that from a certain angle resembles this 2 – 3/4″ Smash Shad Rapala. Love truly knows no bounds.

Trucky has been on a roll ever since going on tour across Arkansas with the red-hot Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and with a brand new album on the horizon, he’s showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. Faux real is proud to have received the first sneak peek at the complete tracklist of Trucky’s highly-anticipated LP: Southern Sky Squirts. Enjoy.
