Boys room styling

Boys rooms can be one big adventure.  Think dinosaurs, Indians, woodlands - a place where they can play and have adventures.

After having had two boys myself, they need storage.  Lego and trains just take over your life.  Utilise the space by installing shelves, tubs for toys that are easy to get to when the adventures start and a color pallet that is effortless and grows with your little one.

My boys bunk bed has a trundle underneath - not for the accommodation of another mattress - but to hold the lego!  We have put some IKEA tubs in there and they are filled to the brim with lego.

I have always loved the idea of not making a room too babyish so you can add and remove pieces into the room when needed but keeping the same colour theme, this still allows a backdrop for toys and artwork to expand and grow.

Nowadays you can easily add wall stickers and wallpaper to create the overall theme.  They are easily removable for the upgrade when they are older and don't leave any marks on the walls.

Go ahead, have some fun - a splash of paint is always a game changer - I'm in.  Are you?
