Days before the big move, you can prepare for this relaxing experience, (and greatly look forwards to it!) by purchasing some fun things like a bath bomb, a brand new, soft towel set and maybe some face masks or body oils. Remember: whatever you say, goes!
Walk it Off
After you’ve had time to relax in the tub, a great way to relieve some of the stress of the day is to take a walk around your new neighborhood. You don’t have to talk to anyone, either.
Plug your headphones in and just walk off the tension of the day. If you have a dog, this can be a fun way to begin breaking your dog into the neighborhood. Just enjoy the sights, the sounds and the alone time. You’ve earned it.
Treat Yourself to Dinner and A Movie
Especially since you haven’t gone grocery shopping or unpacked anything but essentials, take this unique opportunity to treat yourself to whatever tasty treat you’ve been craving, dinner and that movie you’ve been dying to see. It’ll help you unwind and be able to really enjoy yourself without commitments or the stress of having to make conversation with friends.
Sleep, Sleep, Sleep!
If you took work off or moved on a weekend, chances are you don’t have to be up early, so take advantage of the time and sleep! Remember: you don’t have to stress about unpacking anything but your absolute essentials. You’re not obligated to anyone, so recharge while you can.
