Founded in 2010 by Jake Welsh, after doubling its revenue in 2017, e3creative was last year included in The Drum's Top 100 independent agencies.
With e3creative on board, Dept UK is strengthening its service portfolio to match client demand, namely creative and digital marketing.
Now that e3creative has joined forces with the conglomerate, it will be able to leverage Dept on a large scale to service its clients with the additional technology stacks that Dept specialises in, combined with its data and intelligence services.
Established in 2016, in April of last year, after a bout of consolidation within the European digital sector, Dept pulled together 13 creative firms as one entity.
The 13 creative agencies that joined forces included: TamTam; Expand Online; a Friend of Mine; Second Degree; eBrella; Unskippable, Be Excellent, superReal, Trust Agents and Tricode together with Irish agency Webfactory and Building Blocks, which has offices in the UK, US and Spain.
Dept made two further acquisitions in June, adding Yourposition and Factor-a to the roster.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, Dept now employs a team of over 1,000 people operating out of 11 countries in Europe and the US.
