London Stansted Airport is gearing up to this month welcome its 100 millionth passenger in the last four years, a significant milestone since Manchester Airports Group (MAG) took ownership of the airport in 2013.
To celebrate and thank its passengers, the airport is hosting a series of giveaways, events and in-terminal celebrations throughout November, to surprise and thank its passengers, employees and partners. The #1in100million campaign has now launched in the airport, offering one lucky passenger two free tickets to New York, courtesy of Primera Air.
Ken O’Toole, chief executive at London Stansted Airport, said: “I am proud to be part of this fantastic airport as we celebrate this milestone, with our passengers and all staff alike. The airport team here has grown to 12,000 over the last four years and through them, we have strived to become the airport of choice in London and provide the choice, value and service our passengers deserve. Here’s to the next 100 million.”
London Stansted recorded its busiest ever summer season this year, with a total of over 10 million passengers passing through the terminal during the months of June-September.
