Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! I hope all of you spent their holidays well, you got lots of rest and fun, and you are ready to face whatever 2017 has prepared for us. I personally hope that it will be better than 2016, and that we will all succeed with fulfilling our dreams in the next 365 days. Where Can You Find Free Stuff in Melbourne?

Even though I cannot find enough free time to do my nails, I recently stumbled upon some other cool free Stuff. The greatest thing is that everyone can participate or try their luck to get the prizes. And you know me, I’m a young mom, so saving money and getting free things is in my blood. It cheers me up and makes me feel happy. I also like to recycle and reuse things, which includes exchanging old items with other people, and there are some cool locally based communities with these exact purposes. Here are some of the coolest websites for freebies, item trading and Birthday promotions I found:

1. The Freecycle Network. Freecycle is a global community with over 9 million participants in almost every country in the world. There are many groups in Melbourne you can join. They organize all kinds of events and takeaways, and every member can post and get free things. It’s also a great place where you can meet interesting people.
2. Gumtree. Gumtree is a cool Australian website where everyone can register and post ads. You can both sell things and give them away for free. You can also hire services, look for jobs and find everything else you may need. It’s one of the most comprehensive collections of items and services you can find.
3. Win Free Stuff. This is a nice website, which is a collection of all kinds of competitions, which can win you all kinds of freebies. All you have to do is register on the website and participate in every single competition you find interesting. I know it’s a longshot, but you never know what will happen, maybe today will be your lucky day.
4. FreeStuff.com.au. This is another online community for freebies lovers where you can find valuable items, which are useless for someone else. There are also many competitions posted there, so you can participate in them, it never hurts to try.
5. Oz Recycle. The Australian Recyclers Community is one of the oldest places for free stuff and recycling opportunities. Here you will not only find free items, but you can also find solutions to environmental issues, by reducing land fill. You can find everything in there, from furniture, paintings, laundry machines, dog kennels and even wedding dresses.
