Winter Storm Stella Forces Rescheduling for Catseye Pest Control Customers

Dust off your shovels!

Just when we thought spring was almost here, Winter Storm Stella is swooping in with a not-so-subtle reminder that it’s still winter. Stella is not only putting a damper on our mood — it's also on track to become the season’s largest snowstorm.

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for southeastern New York and extended its reach through much of Massachusetts. Additionally, a winter storm warning is in place across the remainder of New York State and the easternmost points of Massachusetts. Upstate New York and the city of Boston could see between 12 and 18 inches, with isolated areas of northeastern Massachusetts and southeastern New York possibly receiving amounts of up to 2 feet.

In light of these developments, Catseye Pest Control is rescheduling all service appointments and inspections planned for Tuesday, March 14, in the affected areas.

In preparation for Stella’s arrival, Massachusetts’ Governor Baker has requested all citizens to stay off the roads Tuesday. New York’s Governor Cuomo has declared a state of emergency for New York State ahead of the storm.

Stay safe out there and if you have questions about your scheduled services for March 14 in New York, please call (518) 621-4497. For questions regarding services scheduled March 14 in Eastern Massachusetts, please call (617) 751-6100.
