This annual Festival has been organized by the Lions Festival of Lights Society for 34 years now. Whether you drive by it every day or now and then, it's a Calgary Christmas tradition that never fails to delight! Get bundled up and take in the sights by foot, or view the twinkling lights from the warmth of your car by driving along 14 St NW, north of 24 Ave.  AIRDRIE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS Nose Creek Regional Park, Main Street, Airdrie | Nightly from December 1-31 from 6-9 pm | While there are no admission fees to enter the park, donations are gratefully accepted Get your glow on the Airdrie Festival of Lights, Western Canada's largest, free, outdoor walk-through Christmas Light Display. Since 1996, this family-friendly event has been made possible by volunteers that help light up the holiday season. Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no additional activities on the grounds this year. However, with all of the fantastic lights to take in, you're assured of having a magical time. Tune your radio to 87.9 FM to listen to the festive music while you experience the Spruce Meadows Christmas Lights Drive Through and their amazing Christmas light display. LEGACY CHRISTMAS LIGHTS The community of Legacy, in Calgary's SE, is celebrating Legacy's 6th Annual Christmas Light Parade! From November 16, 2020, to January 10, 2021, Legacy will light up the south end of the city with more than a million Christmas lights in a bright display throughout the community as one of Calgary's largest free light displays. Take a walk or drive through the community to see festive lights in parks and playgrounds, on the trees, show homes, many private homes, and design features like the Legacy clock tower.  DOWNTOWN CALGARY We have a wonderful downtown here in Calgary. Explore our downtown and see how the office towers do it right with lots of magical lights! Don't forget to visit Stephen Avenue, Olympic Plaza, the McDougall Centre and the CORE.
