PRAY THAT THE UPCOMING HOT WEATHER DOESN'T SPRING UP ANY MORE FIRES AND THAT OUR BRAVE FIREFIGHTERS AND PERSONNEL ARE SAFE AND STRONG AND CAN BE EFFECTIVE.
As I have said before when the temps get hot, OUT comes the local arsonists. We have many here - we even have a list like they do with pedophiles. We have a California Arson Registry -
You can be sure, that law enforcement will be monitoring those on the lists.
I'm hoping this is the last hurrah - for summer. As much as we Californians like to "pretend" that it is Fall, it is still summer, and a HOT one at that.
I can handle the heat - I'm fortunate to have AC - My biggest concern is for the fire victims. They are without homes - or can't go back to their homes yet - Hotels in surrounding towns, are booked.
Some of you who live in Hurricane areas, know a bit more about having to evacuate - and stay in hotels.
I'm waiting to hear about where to drop off donations.
