This is Susie - my cat. I Love cats but this one is very special to me

 and she knows it.

Here's the dog - Laydee.

What a lover!

She does like to act tough - especially when people Walk outside our house. She barks and growls and acts like she is vicious, all the while, wagging her tail.

This is Daisey Mae - I rescued her from the shelter after seeing her Photo on Facebook. She only had a day left before she was to be put down. I saw those warm eyes and I called them first - she was a senior dog - around 8-10 years old. It was love at first sight.

We were blessed to have her for 2 years - woke up one morning and she was paralyzed. Lost control of her bladder - Here she was one day, fine - and the next day, we were putting her to sleep.

I missed her so much that I went out and picked out Susie.

Laydee came to us 6 months later.

The Happiest Dog in the World.

Sport.

This dog was my baby. Half border collie and springer spaniel.

He loved running and walking with us when we used to walk the horses up at the horse sanctuary.

In this photo, I captured his smile - as he was running toward me.

The Grand Cats

Harry.

The lamps are coming along. I thought I would be done by Friday but I got a little sidetracked. (you don't ever do that, do you?)

I am looking forward to the Fall and look for it everywhere, but I haven't seen those subtle little signs yet. I am dreading my electric bill this month.

103 today - the 10-day forecast does show low 100s to H90 which in a way, does look like Autumn is trying to break through.

So while my mind wanders to cooler days and chilly evenings, I do think of you all and hope you are well.
