Def Jam: Icon on Ultimate Xbox 360 is a fighting game, featuring a focus on up-closed brawling, mixing up high and low attacks, blocks, and parries and using the right analog stick to deliver stronger attacks. Def Jam: Icon on ultimate XBox 360 added more environments for fighting such as rooftops, streets, and gas station, Two Clubs, an Atlanta neighborhood, BET's 106 and Parks stage, and other locales, as opposed to the Wrestling Arenas of the previous Def Jam titles. It shows fighters bleed and visible injuries as fight goes on and as the player character's hurt. Def Jam: Icon on ultimate XBox 360 focuses on six(6) fighting styles, such as Ghetto Blaster, Street Kwon Do, Black Panther, Muay Fly, Beatboxer, and Jah Breaka.
