Florida's Weeki Wachee Spring – Wonderful Color Photos Capture Amazing Underwater Performances by Mermaids in the 1960s

The Mermaids welcome you to Weeki Wachee Spring, on Florida's famous Sun Coast, 60 miles north of St. Petersburg on US 19.

At Florida's Weeki Wachee the Mermaids celebrate in the depths of the Underwater Grand Canyon located at the junction of US 19 and Fla. 50 with an "Unbirthday Party" as part of the underwater show, "ALICE in Waterland."

Weeki Wachee mermaids become pirates for their new show MERMAIDS AND THE PIRATES which is presented underwater daily at the famous Spring located at US 19 and Florida 50 north of ST. Petersburg, Tampa and Clearwater.

The Mermaids pay a special tribute to their long time friend, Arthur Godfrey, as they stage a special Hawaiian skit in their 1968 underwater Mermaid Show, "UNDERWATER DREAM GIRLS."
