Well... It's time again. It's time for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society's Great Backyard Bird Count (aka GBBC). The title pretty much says it all - you count birds in your backyard (or wherever) and then submit your observations on the site above. That site also contains info on bird identification, participating with an app, adding photos and sounds to your list, etc., etc., etc... When all is said and done, the whole process can take as little as half an hour, but why hurry? The count will be from 2/12/16 to 2/15/16. So why not join with 100,000 other amateur birder scientists and try to figure out just what critters are where when?
We'll be observing/reporting by the feeders...
