My First Mobile Phones

Do you remember, what was the brand and type of your first mobile phone? Maybe brands like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, or Motorola were dominated our past time. That time, I were not know about PDA or smartphone. So I just knew about mobile Phone with minimum features, like SMS messaging and telephone call. Some years lately I use mobile with internet and camera features.

Nokia 3210 and Samsung SCH-N356

My family and me had mobile phone on 2004. Samsung SCH-N356 was our first mobile phone. At that time, the mobile phone we bought 388.000 rupiahs. that mobile phone use CDMA network and bundled by Fren number phone. That mobile phone was not need SIM/RUIM card because the number phone have injected in the handset.

Cause of my sister more need to used that phone than me, my sister brought it daily. On other word, that phone was my sister’s. I just occasionally used that phone.

On middle of 2006, when I starting college, I bought Nokia 3210. Different from Samsung mobile phone that I bought new, the Nokia phone I bought on second hand condition. Physically, the Nokia phone had bigger size and heavier. Both of them have in common was still monochrome and had poliphonic ringtones.

On the end of 2006, I brought the Nokia phone to the beach. Cause of the beach sands, the phone speaker was broken. Some months later, that phone was dead because used of the wrong charger. At that time I need mobile phone, so I asked my sister to used the Samsung phone.

Some months later, that Samsung phone is dead. When I brought it to unofficial service center, the answer that I get was “This phone it’s time to dead”. However this phone repaired but the service center will not give guarantees because he knew that this phone lives no longer. This was done solely for backup contact in it. After were repaired, a few weeks later the phone was completely dead.

Until now, I still feel that nothing is as comfortable as Samsung’s handset. It’s comfortable in the hand, comfortable keypad for typing, also seen trendy and luxurious because it is not in candybar design. So as to carry everywhere, looks elegant.

That’s my two first phones. What was your first mobile phone?
