The BMW M Performance new accessories line will allow the drivers to improve the dynamic characteristics and the visual elements of the BMW M2 Coupe starting from March 2016. The improvements include aerodynamic components, technical refinement of the exhaust system and suspension, visual and acoustic elements.
M Performance portfolio offers a wide range of aerodynamic components from carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP or carbon fiber), which includes front and side sill attachments, rear diffuser and side mirror housing, thus improving the aerodynamics and emphasizing the spectacular appearance of a compact sports car.
Front and side sill combined with a rear spoiler and diffuser of BMW M Performance line optimize air flow, which has a positive effect on handling and driving performance. The stylish body of carbon fibre side mirrors concisely complete the sporty image of the car. The same applies to the M Performance glossy black front and side grille adorned with the logo of BMW M in logo’s red, blue and light blue colors.
The M Performance flap exhaust system that regulates the flow of exhaust gases, designed for more vivid perception of the sound of the engine. Sport and Track two modes can be controlled remotely via Bluetooth.
BMW M2 Coupe can be equipped with the BMW M Performance coil-spring suspension that optimize the driving stability and handling. It reduces the clearance by at least 5 mm in comparison with the standard suspension. The clearance can be reduced by an additional 20 mm if desired.
The BMW M Performance sports brake pads are more adapted to the race track and they increase the level of active safety. Their composition is based on the brake pads designed for long-distance races and are well known in motor racing.
The interior of the BMW M2 Coupe can also be modified by creating an individual, sporty design with the help of BMW M Performance accessories. For instance, the BMW M Performance LED door sill cover strips for the driver and passenger side can be added to get a stylish and striking accentuation directly as the door is opened.
