Hi, everyone, it’s time for another Crazy 4 Challenges! Jessie is our hostess this month and in honor the Olympics she’s challenging us to create a sports themed card or use the Olympic colors. I’m thinking Competitive Hula Hooping should be a new event, don’t you? I don’t have any sports themed products so I went with the colors. Pretty much.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and added a panel of Ranger Watercolor Paper on which I applied a watercolor wash using Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush. I stamped PI Hula Hoop on X-Press It Blending Card, cut her out with PI Hula Hoop Die-namics, and colored her with Copic markers.
I added a Radiant Sun Die-namics cut from Sunshine card stock and Puffy Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 20 Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and popped up on foam mounting tape. I popped the girlie up on top of the sentiment and called it done!
