Tis The Season To Be Spooky

Hello there my Spooky friends!  I selected a piece from my background stash to use as a starting point for today's card.  I used Midnight Blue Pixie Powders on a piece of silver mirror card.  I spritzed the powder with water then covered it with a piece of cling film and scrunched it to get all the lines in it.  I used the Halloween Frame and cut it in black, leaving a wide edge on it.  I cut just the mummy out of white card and nipped him away from the frame.  I used a grey pencil and accented the lines, then lightly sponged him around the edge with weathered wood distress ink, then glued him on top of the mummy on the black die cut frame.  I nipped away all the elements on the top of the frame, leaving just the wide edge.  I added in a white circle cut as a moon in the corner and glued three bats to it.  Using Jamie Rodgers Spooky Tree die, I cut it in black and added it below the moon.  I cut the raven in gloss black so it would show up a bit better and glued him to one of the branches.  I left the pumpkins from the frame but added a pale yellow backing so their features would show up.  I cut the sentiment from the frame die set in black and glued it into the upper corner.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6"  x  7 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
