Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. I decided to give the no-line coloring thing another go using this little cutie from BB Party Like a Pirate stamp set. This technique does take a lot of practice—I’m not happy with the eyes so concentrate on them next time. And I don’t have enough definition on my “edges” so that needs work too.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and added a mat cut from Sweet Sunshine Paper Pack with Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX Die-namics. Then I cut Stitched Square Frames Die-namics from Red Not card stock, popped it up on more patterned paper on which I stamped the sentiment with Blueberry dye ink, and adhered it to the card front.

Next I stamped the image on No-Line Coloring Card Stock with Kraft hybrid ink. I didn’t have any Cement Gray hybrid ink but I’ll remedy that by the next time. I colored with Copic markers and popped her up on the frame to finish.
