Kids Weekly Planner Templates
We are trying to save some sanity with our Kids Weekly Planner Templates! After finding out we would be homeschooling for the next couple of months, we needed a way to get organized each week.
My kids do much better with a plan or schedule. With that being said, we are flexible. We aren’t too crazy and realize sometimes you just need to take a break and have some fun!
Our schedules that we are sharing with you include, a daily schedule (each hour), a weekly chore chart, a weekly schedule for school work, and a kid goal sheet!
You can find the explanations and downloads below! We are thinking of you all! WE CAN DO THIS! Hang in there parents!
We have found our favorite BRIGHT COLORED PENS for filling out our charts. My kids love using these pens…it even gets them excited for school work.
Weekday Schedule by Hour Kid Chart
Our first printable is a weekday schedule by hour. We filled this out together as a family, adding in times for school work, play, exercise, eating, and down time.
Although we sometimes change it up, it’s nice to have a plan. My kid like being able to see what is in store each day. It helps us have less melt downs, and discouragement.
Our most important part in the morning is a “Morning Meeting.” This helps me sit down with my kids and help them form a plan for that day. We receive emails from teachers each morning and this is a good time to read the emails together and make a plan.
Weekly Chore Kid Chart
This is saving me!! Each week we write down 4 chores each day. These do not have to be long, time consuming chores. But with all of us home 24/7 kids need to pitch in and do their part.
They can help pick some of their chores. I feel like have similar chores during the week helps kids not feel too overwhelmed. We also add chores to help with the care of our dog.
They need to complete their chores each day between 3 and 4 pm. Of course there are days where we just drop it all and go on a walk or watch a movie!
Weekly School Assignment Chart for Kids
Each morning at our “Morning. Meeting” we check out their school assignments and map them out on the weekly school assignment chart. This helps my kids to just focus and do it one day at a time!
Our kids love being able to see each day and what they need to accomplish…and know their is an end in sight!
Goal Setting Chart for Kids
We began setting goals in our family this year. This quarantine time is a good time to set new goals, and work on the goals throughout the week.
We wanted to keep it simple, and make sure the goals are pretty attainable within a week or so.
You can also let kids check off a box to keep track of their progress.
Each family member set a goal for Physical, Intellectual, Spiritual, and Social growth. We love how this follows our Church’s New Youth Plan.
