Know what makes the Big Man stop his sleigh on Christmas Eve? Caffeine and Cookies of course! For years kids have been leaving milk out with his cookies, but this Santa Fuel Basket is chuck full of the good stuff!
I was in charge of putting together some gift baskets for our school to donate to our community Night of Giving (like a festival of trees) and when I saw this Santa Stop Here sign at Michaels, I knew a basket based on it would be so cute.
I picked up all of these supplies at Michaels. The wooden crate is one of my favorites they carry all the time and the other things were all in the Christmas section. Including the red letter board that was on sale for just $8!
I “white washed” the crate with a jade paint to match the green on the sign and added these cute snowflakes. The snowflakes were sold as gift tags but I liked the color and texture that they added to the basket.
I was so excited to find a letter board and love the red color. It went perfectly with everything else in the basket. I added everything to the crate with Coke (of course)! We added some coconut syrup just in case Santa is feeling like treating himself to a dirty Coke Christmas Eve, and boxes of Swig Cookie mix. And one other thing Santa may need on Christmas Ever – a few rolls of wrapping paper.
What does your Santa run on?
