Streets of Bedlam Archetypes Using HeroClix

I’ve never tried to write anything for this site from my phone, but for this quick photo post, I figured I’d give it a try.

When I started running Daring Entertainment’s War of the Dead setting for Savage Worlds more than two years ago, I decided to modify plastic miniatures for the game. The idea came from the incredibly creative Jordan Peacock, who makes some fantastic miniatures for his games this way.

Now that I am looking at running Fun Sized Games’ Streets of Bedlam setting for Savage Worlds, I decided to continue the idea of using modified plastic miniatures, mostly from the HeroClix line, to represent characters in this game. I don’t go through the more intense modifications Jordan does, so most of my mods are just rebasing the figures, though some have minor painting, or other changes.

While Streets of Bedlam will likely not be a “miniatures intensive” game, I’m sure they will be useful at times.

Here is a quick and dirty representation of each of the Streets of Bedlam Archetypes using HeroClix miniatures:

Badge

Boss

Bulldog

Dogface

Drifter

Hitter

Monster

Pusher

Regent

Saint

Samaritan

Snoop

Valkyrie

Ingenue

Sawbones

[Redacted]

Capper

Note: Special Thanks to Ryan Conway, who did some of these mods and has given many Clix to the cause.
Also, these pics we’re taken in a hurry with my phone.
