The 1 Kitchen Item You Need to Get Your Tweens/Teens Cooking!

**This post is sponsored by Walmart and RewardStyle. All opinions are my own!**

I hear “I’m hungry!” approximately 572 times from 3pm to bedtime. If you have teens, tweens, or just ravenous small people running around your house, I have an idea for you! I’m all about getting my kids to learn life skills AND gain some independence, and so much of that can be done in the kitchen. I’m learning that having the right tools to foster this growth is important!

One of the handiest tools I’ve purchased recently is this Air Fryer from the Drew Barrymore line at Walmart. I honestly purchased it because I thought it was beautiful (hence the brand name); however, it has quickly been taken over by my kids.
Why?
Because it’s the easiest way to cook!

You can throw just about anything (and believe, we have) and in just minutes, you have a crispy, healthier, yummy air fried food option. My kids love it because at just a touch of a button, and a few minutes, they can make themselves a yummy snack or meal!

Some of our favorite options to put in the air fryer include: chicken thighs, mozzerella sticks and cut up veggies (with seasonings) for a quick and healthy side dish!

I absolutely love this appliance!
Ours is the 6 quart size, but the larger 9 quart is in stock too and is also awesome because it has 2 separate baskets for different food options at the same time. Now there will be no fighting over who gets to make their snack first! (Maybe that only happens at my house?)

I wanted to share a few other fun home finds I am loving right now.
Walmart is knocking it out of the park in function and design!
These baskets are such great quality, but I also love the two tone design.
Plus, they’ve solved another issue for our family!

Organization can be difficult when you’re dealing with kids who never leave things organized for long; however, these baskets have helped keep our snacks in their right place. (You can find a lot other styles and options HERE.)
Plus, it provides easy access.
I pull out the snack options from the pantry, and the kids can choose what they’d like.
This also can help with packing lunches!

Organization makes mom happy AND that means everyone is happy!

If you’re looking for function and style for your home, Walmart is your place.
Take a peek at these cups I’m just loving!
They’re perfect for Spring and on sale!
