DIY Clothespin Butterflies

Looking for an easy summer craft? These Diy Clothespin Butterflies are the perfect way to use up your scrap fabric pieces and so much fun to make. Scout and I made these and have a couple around the house, but she’s giving the rest away to her friends. They would be a fun craft for a party or would be cute party favors. What you need: clothespins, craft paint, paint brushes, hot glue gun (or craft glue), scissors, scrap fabric, string Paint your clothespins. While the paint is drying, cut your fabric into butterfly wing shapes. Tie a piece of string or yarn around the center of the wings. When the clothespin is completely dry, use hot glue or craft glue to attach the wings to the body… don’t forget to add a sweet little face to your butterfly also! You can glue a string to the back for hanging… or add a wood skewer to the butterfly so it can be placed in a flower pot. Aren’t these diy clothespin butterflies the cutest? You could also use them as gift toppers  and would look adorable taking the place of a bow.
