EdTech hosts first batch of Google-certified Train the Trainers program for educational apps

The UST Educational Technology Center spearheaded the university-wide implementation of the Google Apps for Education partnership, beginning last April 12-13, 2016, with the training of coordinators EdTech on the use of Google apps for education. Part of the agreement is to lead linkage Faculty Members to certify themselves to be a Google Certified Educator (Level 1 and 2) as they become proficient in the use of the Google Apps for teaching and learning.
 
In response to this requirement, the UST Center Edtech selected Edtech Coordinators appointed to jumpstart the program by attending the Google-certified Training the Trainer's Program.

All coordinators EdTech later on will undergo the same training program to lead and inspire UST faculty members reach their full potential of using Google Apps to improve digital teaching efficiency.
 
The first batch Edtech Coordinators who attended the program is composed of: Asst. Prof. Jose Tolentino Olivar II (Arts & Letters / Team Leader of eLearning Management), Asst. Prof. Melanie Marfal (Commerce / Team Leader for ICT based Training Management), Dr. Rachelle Lintao (UST Graduate School), Mr. Edwin Torralba (AMV College of Accountancy) and Ms. Christy Marie Iguid (UST Junior High School).
