On 5 May 2016, held the 9th Jewel Hall UST Medicine. The jewel of this year UST has the theme "Staff Tomasino: Kalsa in Evangelism."
In his message, urged the Acting Rector of the University of Santo Tomas, the Reb. Richard P. G., OP, PhD, staff remain light and partners in spreading the Good News of the Gospel. He also paid tribute to the diligence and dedication to the work shown by the staff.

In his remarks, thanked the Director of Human Resource Department Atty. Jackqueline O. Lopez-Prov all helped ensure the matagaumpay the honor this year. He also announced the use of the department of social media so you should keep important information to the community in the most effective and fast way.
Also launched the "Smile: Preach Joy" campaign, urging the staff to be an instrument of positive influence in the community by the smile on their face fellow. The campaign is symbolized by a "Smile: Preach Joy" button pin that isususot daily staff.
