Introduction
TS Eamcet, which stands for Telangana State Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) on behalf of TSCHE, the state’s secondary education committee. Telangana EAMCET is a highly competitive exam in the state and the scores are necessary to get admission into various undergraduate courses in Engineering, Medicine and Agricultural Sciences. The scores are also accepted by some colleges in Andhra Pradesh. TS EAMCET 2018 notification pertaining to the application and exam date will be issued tentatively in the last week of February or first week of March 2018.

The TS EAMCET Important dates for the year 2018 have been tabulated below.

TS EAMCET 2018 Exam Date
TS EAMCET 2018 exam dates have been announced and shall be conducted between 2nd May to 7th May 2018.
Mode of Answering
The TS EAMCET 2018 exam is expected to be conducted in the offline mode, i.e OMR sheets will be provided for answering the multiple-choice questions.
Medium of Answering
TS EAMCET 2018 will be conducted in English. However, questions will also be provided in Telugu for students from vernacular schools. Students who have studied the qualifying examination in Urdu and wish to avail for translation in Urdu will be allocated Hyderabad as Centre only.
TS EAMCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Telangana EAMCET can be taken by students belonging to either of the following nationalities:
- Indian or
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
- Overseas citizen of India (OCI)
Domicile Requirements
He/she must be residing in Telangana or AP currently or must have completed schooling here.
Engineering/Pharmacy Courses
Candidates should have cleared the qualifying examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as optional or any vocational courses in the fields of Engineering.
OR
Candidate must have appeared/passed the final year Diploma examination in Engineering recognized by AP/Telangana State board of Technical education.
Candidates should also have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admissions or as described in the notification.
Applicant must have completed minimum 17 years of age for B.Tech (Dairy Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology), B.Sc (CA & BM) and Pharm.D, however, should not be more than 22 years of age (25 years for SC/ST) in order to remain eligible.

TS EAMCET 2018 Application Form
TS EAMCET application form 2018 will be available online and must be filled and completed online only.
The application portal is currently closed and is expected to open in the 1st week of February 2018. Further, the TS EAMCET application last date shall fall in the month of May 2018.
On the Telangana EAMCET official website https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in/, the application forms will be made available.
Application fee
The fee is to be paid online during the application procedure. Irrespective of the field applying for, the application fee is ₹500 for all students.
Only SC/ST students have a fee of ₹250.

Documents to be uploaded
Images to be uploaded are the candidates’ photo and signature. The format has to be in JPEG. All other documents will be validated during counselling.
The size of the photo should not exceed 30KB and that of the signature should not exceed 15KB.
Steps of applying
- Visit eamcet.tsche.ac.in and click on the “APPLY ONLINE” field
- Enter the details as asked and proceed to further fields including past academics details and personal details.
- Select other details including
- Exams to attend (Engineering Entrance, Medical or both)
- Preliminary exam to be attended (Intermediate, CBSE, Vocational, Diploma, etc)
- Language of examination
- Birth state
- Aadhaar card number
- Category based on caste
- Upload your photo and signature in JPEG format
- Proceed to the payment page and pay through net banking or debit card or credit card.
- In case you are a revisiting user, click “Already paid though card/ net baking” and proceed to verification
- Upon verification of payment, you will be allowed to download the Hall Ticket
TS EAMCET 2018 Admit Card
TS EAMCET 2018 hall tickets will be available in the 3rd week of April 2018 and can be downloaded from the official website.
Admit cards won’t be sent via post.
Examination Pattern
Exam Duration
The exam duration is 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes
Type of Questions
Questions are all MCQ’s (Multiple Choice Questions) and have to be answered in the provided OMR sheet by shading.

A total of 160 questions are asked, each of one mark.

Marking Scheme

TS EAMCET 2018 Results
Results of TS EAMCET 2018 is expected to be published two weeks after the exam i.e by end week of May. The results will be displayed on the official website and the rank card can be download from that day onwards until the end of May or first week of June.
TS EAMCET 2018 Counselling
The counselling for engineering and medical courses take place separately. The candidate should score above 25% in TS EAMCET 2018 to be eligible to attend the counselling procedure. The students have to visit the counselling centres and register themselves with their preferred course and college after payment of the counselling fee and verification of documents. The allotted college will be informed through a message/email and also the admission order can be download from the TS EAMCET 2018 website after logging in. The list of documents to be presented for verification will be made available to the students on the official website.
