Little Black Dress: Whether you dress it up or down every style guide will tell you that is one of the best investments you can make.
Boyfriend Fit Denim Jacket-This is a steal! it’s the perfect blue colored denim, with a little distress, and a boyfriend fit. Pair this with some black denim or a black legging, some platform black booties, a black/white/or striped tee, and you are ready to go!
White Chiffon Shirt Although this is a simple shirt, you can do so much with it! You can dress it up, or wear it casually! Some black denim and a black bootie and your outfit would be complete! I have a new found love for these shirts!!!
Boots :Heel or no heel. . boots are my absolute favourite. They have a talent at making legs instantly sexier and more flattering. More a winter and autumn favourite but who ever said you couldn’t rock ankle boots on a cold day in summer?
DENIM SHORTS / skirt. These are a summer essential in all grungy girls’ closets. Perfect for the beach and no one will complain about how damn tan your legs are by the end of summer.
Blazer: When purchasing your blazer fit is your number one priority. I personally love a more tailored look but you can also go with a boyfriend cut if that’s more your style. The most important thing to remember is to purchase a blazer that best suits your lifestyle.
Clutch: When in doubt a black clutch can pull almost any outfit together.
Black Skirt: I love A-Line skirts because they are fun and flirty, but feel free to choose whatever silhouette that fits your body the best. If skirts aren’t your thing try a tailored black pant instead.
Tights /skinny jeans: I bought a pair of black opaque tights a few months ago at Payless and I have worn them everywhere. I especially like pairing them with my navy blue knee high boots.
Print dress : It’s nice to funk up your wardrobe with a few fun pieces, black doesn’t have to be boring.
high-waisted Jeans. You need at least one pair of them. If you do go with only one pair then I suggest you get a dark wash in whatever cut you find flattering (I’m pretty partial to skinny jeans) because you can dress them up easily. If you get more than one, then it’s really up to you with what wash you get, however I do think that it’s best to have a dark wash, a traditional denim colour and perhaps a grey of some kind. But if you’re a denim addict, then go for whatever colours and cuts you can find!
