The wet and windy Spring here in Toronto is disappointing considering how mild mother nature treated us during the winter. However, the good news is that summer is right around the corner which means plenty of sun and great outdoor activities. If the rain has been keeping you back from enjoying Toronto’s fantastic outdoor pools then we’re here to help. Toronto has many free indoor public pools located all across the city and today we highlight the 5 best indoor pools in the city.

Opened in 2015 for the Pan-Am games, the Toronto Pan Am sports Centre features two olympic sized pools along with a olympic diving tank. Located in Scarborough, this sports centre is partly owned by the city of Toronto which means plenty of free drop in programs for those who would like to swim in the same pool used by some great professional athletes.

Regent Park Aquatic Centre – 640 Dundas St E Toronto, ON

Opened in 2012, the Regent Park Aquatic Centre was a key feature in the Regent Park Revitalization Project. For those who live in the west-end of Toronto, the Etobicoke Olympium is a staple in the community. Another venue on this list from the 2015 Pan Am Games, the Etobicoke Olympium features one olympic sized pool and multiple diving boards. The dive towers have been recently renovated making this one of the best aquatic centres in the city.
