There have been many instances, where a couple have had Breakup for all the wrong and stupid reasons. Both the individuals, who were supposedly in love have called it quits ‘cause they are not into each other anymore or they are bored of each other’ or they’d say “it’s just not working out anymore.” Fortunately or unfortunately in a perfect world of love, this is what happens and one of them is left heart-broken. No one is perfect in this world is what people fail to realize and sometimes breakups happen for idiotic, stupid and lame reasons with really bad results. Here are some of the 5 stupid reasons for breakup that women and men choose to say to end a relationship.

1. Ultimatum

This is the worst and the stupidest move one can make with the partner – giving an ultimatum. It’s a kind of like a permanent damage to the relationship. This makes the partner think that the relationship is on its last legs and nothing can be done to save it and find ways to get separated sooner. This act of sending out an ultimatum is a little self-centered and stupid. You are single-handedly offering your partner in a silver platter to walk out of the relationship.

2. Not Putting in Enough Effort

No relationship actually works effortlessly. Some days you do have to work on it and some days you don’t have to at all. Many a time, one thinks or feels that the other one is not putting in enough effort into their relationship. Thus, they take a call to breakup. But, it doesn’t always happen that way.

3. Breakup for Facebook? Really?

“You haven’t changed your status in Facebook yet? How can you not do that yet? That means you don’t love me. We are done. Just done.”  This is the stupidest reason that one can have for breakups. Facebook is not your life and sometimes, rather many a time girls and boys fail to comprehend this simple thing. Changing the “relationship status” in Facebook doesn’t mean that you have a strong relationship or for that matter your love for each other is strong. Just because one hasn’t changed his/her Facebook status doesn’t mean you have an opportunity to fight or to breakup or even that to think that the relationship doesn’t mean anything at all.

4. Looks Differ

I actually know a couple, where the boy told the girl that every time he went closer to the girl, she reminded him of a male celebrity. He dumped her because of that, as he could not “unsee” that. I thought the boy was really shallow and being really stupid. But, unfortunately, sometimes breakups do happen because of this weird thing called – looks matter.

5. Cold Slaw Or Coleslaw?

He broke up with her because she pronounced it “cold slaw”. Are you serious? I’d tell the boy to go get a life! And to the woman, I’d say,, you deserve better. This is the most ridiculous reason why one would breakup. But, it does happen. Pronunciations apparently are a very very important part of a relationship. Is it?

If you’re looking to breakup with each other, you don’t need any stupid or grand reason to do so. Sit down, talk to each other, tell each other how you feel and then decide. Breakup is not a solution always. But, it may be a solution if you feel you are poles apart. All that I would say is you should appreciate each other, especially, if you’ve been through all the rough times together.
