Your scalp contains between 100,000 to 150,000 hairs, this quantity can not be compared with twenty or more of hair missing, however, the missing hair is compensated by re-growth of hair later (within the cycle of hair follicles), so you do not need to worry,  and you do not need a cure for hair loss.
When did you start worry about your hair?, or When did you start to take the first step towards the hair loss cure?

Well, of course it is better to discover it early, until you start cure, before it worsens and becomes more ill, and can not repair the whole thing, or hair back to what it was before.

How do you discover it?

It is natural that When your hair
falls, begins to re-grow again as we pointed out previously , but When you notice that your hair began to fall in larger quantities every day and appear in your scalp some blanks that do not grow out by hair, then your hair becomes thinner than ever before , now you should be worried , possible that you are suffering from hair loss , but you should speed up and begin the first step toward cure, a diagnosis of the situation , which is considered the most important step of cure, see your dermatologist to diagnose your condition and explain the causes of hair loss and how to start cure, You may need this to work some of the necessary check-up on the blood work and thyroid until you identify accurately the causes of the symptoms of hair loss .

What is hair loss?

Hair is composed of protein called keratin, which is produced in the hair follicles in the outer layer of the skin.

There are several stages in the life cycle of the hair follicles, which may affect them some factors such as age and disease and a wide range of other factors, this session is divided into three phases:

1 - anagen: activates hair growth and which lasts between 2 to 6 years,
Cells have two functions at this stage are produce new hair, and bury follicles in the skin layer to nourish the strand , and 85% of the scalp hair is in this stage.
2 - catagen: also known as the transitional phase, allows the follicle to renew itself. During this time, which lasts two to three weeks.
3 - telogen: the resting phase, which lasts about two to three months, and in the end of the resting phase of hair is shed and a new hair replaces it and the growing cycle starts again.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology that the average person loses between 50 to 100 hairs every day and while falling happen again re-growth to compensate for what has been lost.

It is normal to lose a certain amount of hair every day, but when you lose large amounts of hair and consistently, there becomes a problem that needs to be treated.

According to the American Hair Loss Association that 40 percent of those who suffer from thinning hair and balding spots are female.

Types of Hair Loss:

Hair loss is divided into two types: temporary and permanent.

Temporary hair loss means you lose your hair for a period of time for a variety of reasons and then return to growth again. Of the reasons for the temporary hair loss, the first is "negligence" may be Neglected in the care of your hair and keep it, or may be Neglected in your food and do not take the necessary elements and vitamins for hair growth and nutrition, or you follow harsh diet.

The second, is "a temporary hormonal reasons", may occur disturbances in hormone levels have cause hair loss such as pregnancy and after birth.

Thirdly, some other reasons such as extreme fatigue, stress, surgery, thyroid problems, and gastrointestinal tract, all of these reasons cause hair loss, but can be controlled and cured with ease.

Permanent hair loss means you lose your hair down for a long time with very slow in the process of hair growth, where it becomes your hair is very thin, but it is possible to find places in your scalp do not grow their hair at all, due causes permanent hair loss, factors hormonal or genetic and including menopause and autoimmune diseases such as "alopecia areata, lupus, psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis" where the immune system attacks the hair follicles, as there are genetic reasons, which we derive from the father or mother or a relative of the family.

If you suffer from a permanent hair loss to be honestly, the cure will not be easy, as the cure in the fall of permanent hair does not come with similar results in all cases where the effect of the cure varies from woman to woman, and must continue the cure to long periods even bring results good and sometimes if you stop the cure may be due to hair falling again and rarely appears in negative consequences for the patient.

Causes of Hair Loss:

There are many reasons that may lead to hair loss, which we will explain in detail here now, but will classify it as kind.

1 - Causes permanent hair loss:

A) alopecia areata: is an autoimmune disease and It occurs for genetic factors and hormonal, which is most prevalent between men and women, but we can say that the most bad of all the causes of hair loss, because of what is left of the destruction of the hair follicle, and the bad appearance especially women.

Alopecia areata in women is characterized by thinning hair over the entire head and does not cause a decline in hair lines and rare causes complete baldness as it is in men.
The reason for alopecia areata is an androgen one of the male sex hormones in women and is responsible for hair growth , linked to hair loss to increase the level of this hormone as in the natural hair cycle hair strands continue to grow for a period of up to six years and then followed by a period of rest for several months and then stage fall which shed hair and then repeats the same session , but when it increases the level of this hormone " androgen ," it causes the speed up the process of hair growth , and cause the hair follicles become thin and short , as he takes a long time to grow new hair to replace the hair lost .

B) menopause : With age and menopause in women may simply start in losing a lot of hair due to factors hormonal , as disrupt hormonal in during this period between female hormones such as , ( estrogen and progesterone ) and male hormones ( testosterone ) in women , as estrogen in the period before menopause may rise and then fall again , and the hormone progesterone is reduced due to suspension of the period of ovulation (although still having a menstruating ) , and testosterone , a male hormone in women , rises and becomes very prominent , all these factors lead to a woman to lose her hair almost like men after menopause , may also suffer from thyroid problems in this period , which is working excessively.

C) There are a lot of other diseases that can cause hair loss, which fall under the rubric of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis, which because of the immune system attacks the hair follicles.

2 - Causes temporary hair loss:

A ) during and after pregnancy : pregnancy changes your body in many ways and these include changes your hair , and you may begin to experience hair loss during or after pregnancy .
During pregnancy in some women have their hair healthier and thicker because of the high rates of the hormones they have, and may appear hair in some other places such as the face , arms, legs or even the chest , and at this stage may enter your hair in the resting phase , which limit the amount of hair that may lose.
But there are others of women facing hair loss during pregnancy may be one of the following reasons, firstly as a result of fluctuating hormone levels have. Secondly, it may be the result of a lack of vitamins and minerals needed for hair growth, and to correct this, see your doctor for vitamins or supplements necessary.
But after giving birth about three months reduced estrogen levels after their arrival to the maximum degree during childbirth, and this leads to the loss of temporary hair for up to six consecutive months.
This problem will be solved with time, but you can take some steps to mitigate or prevent hair loss after pregnancy.

B) shocks such as severe illness or surgery or extreme stress, all this may cause loss of hair temporarily, according to the American osteopathic College of dermatology "telogen effuvium" is the term given to the hair that goes into a resting phase after suffering body of the shock due to surgery or disease or severe fatigue, where it is sending nutrients to the body to the area of surgery to heal wounds and do not send any of them to the hair, according to the priority must be sent to the area of the wound to stay alive.
Also, persons who have undergone surgery in the stomach or other digestive designed to reduce obesity were more likely to lose hair after surgery, due to a decline in the amount of food after surgery body needs a sufficient amount of proteins and vitamins for the production of hair and often protein supplementation is recommended for these patients substitute for food.

C) Medications: anti-depressants, drugs common, which may cause hair loss, and believed to be in the category of antidepressant SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) causes hair loss more than any other (Zoloft – Paxil - Prozac) and well-known anti-depressant SSRI class.

Another medication such as Accutane, and is a specialist in the cure of severe acne and is contained on the side effects cause hair loss, and there are other drugs cause hair loss, some of the medications include blood thinners, gout Pharmaceuticals, Pharmaceuticals blood pressure, cholesterol Pharmaceuticals, thyroid medication , contraceptive pills high in progestin, anti-inflammatory drugs and chemotherapy.
