This product was my first experience with a facial item from The Body Shop.  I was hesitant to spend $15 on such an item, but I’ve heard that Tea Tree products are excellent for blemished skin.  As someone who has extremely sensitive skin, I was eager to try something that seemed so natural.

My initial reaction upon taking the Mask out of my shipment was the size – it seemed awful small for the price.  I’ve never used any sort of cosmetic product religiously, so I knew that I wouldn’t run out of it anytime soon.  This might be a problem for someone who would use a mask on a regular basis, however.

Personally, I absolutely love the smell.  I’ve always been a big fan of Tea Tree Products and this is definitely not a disappointment.  The color, as you can see, is a very interesting shade of green.  To me it just feels natural.  The texture of the mask is very smooth and creamy, and I didn’t have a problem with applying it to my face.  I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a little goes a long way with this product and you don’t have to smother it all over in order to get a noticeable result.

One thing I found interesting about the tea Tree mask is that the website states that the mask will not try, but after leaving it on for around 10 min. the mask was dry.  This made it somewhat difficult to remove without scrubbing lightly with a face cloth.  Also, the mask has a tendency to sting in places where heavier amounts are applied or where pores are enlarged (for example, the nose).

After use, my face did indeed feel smoother and refreshed.  I couldn’t help but admire how clean my face looked.  The smell of the mask didn’t linger, either, which is a big plus for those who don’t want the world knowing what they use on their face.

This tea Tree Face Mask is absolutely perfect for people who have trouble controlling blemishes on their face.  However, it certainly isn’t limited to those who are acne prone.  It’s gentle enough to not encourage breakouts, but strong enough to get rid of any yucky impurities.  If you don’t mind dishing out the $15 (or waiting for an excellent sale), this is an excellent product for you!
